We are thrilled to welcome you safely back inside library buildings for browsing and technology services. Please use self-checkout stations and limit your time in the buildings.
All 19 full-service Pierce County Libraries are open with in-building services so people of all ages can browse bookshelves and find books and movies on their own.
Pick up books, movies and more at Library Curbside, available at 19 of the Library System's 20 locations!
Masks required in library buildings (5 and older). Following Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department’s directive and the State of Washington’s order, the Pierce County Library System requires the public and staff, regardless of vaccination, to wear masks to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
Children ages 2-4 are strongly encouraged to wear a mask per the Department of Health.
Also, per public health directives, masks are required outdoors where physical distancing isn’t possible.
