Celebrating 10 Years: Gig Harbor’s Waterfront Farmers Market Kicks Off 2025 Season
GIG HARBOR, WA – [May 1, 2025] – The beloved Waterfront Farmers Market returns for
the 2025 season, celebrating 10 years, on Thursday, May 22! The market will run every
Thursday through August 28, from 1–6 PM at Skansie Brothers Park on Harborview Drive in
beautiful Gig Harbor.
This year’s market brings an outstanding lineup of vendors offering fresh, locally grown
produce, herbs, flowers, gourmet mushrooms, seafood, eggs, and lavender. Food lovers will
also find hand-crafted cocktail mixers, wine, baked goods, specialty sauces, sipping vinegars,
coffee, ice cream, and chef-prepared take-home meals.
But the market is more than just a place to shop—it’s a vibrant weekly celebration of
community. Each Thursday features a rotation of unique local artisans selling handmade
candles, body care products, jewelry, woodwork, and more.
New This Year:
We’re excited to pilot a Co-Op Booth in partnership with the Peninsula Female Farmers
Network. This collaborative booth will showcase the bounty of several hyper-local farms,
giving shoppers the opportunity to support multiple small-scale women-led farms in one
convenient stop. It’s a powerful new way to connect with the roots of our local food system.
Also new this year, a free shuttle service will run every Thursday throughout the season to
make the market more accessible for all. Details and routes will be available on our website.

Join us for a special welcome and ribbon cutting from Mayor Barber to kick off the season at
1PM on May 22!
