Every fall, salmon migrate into the streams that flow through Shelton to spawn. You can see them from sidewalks just blocks from the library. Come to the library and join the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group to see displays, children’s activities, and crafts to learn about the salmon that inhabit the waters around us.
At noon, we’ll take about a one mile walk to look for salmon migrating the streams that flow through Shelton. Dress appropriately for weather.
