Evergreen Music Festival Session 1
Session 1: July 14 – July 18, 2025 at Pacific Lutheran University
An amazing symphonic summer music camp for students ages 7-13 who play orchestral instruments, including strings, winds, brass, and percussion. Students will take part in daily rehearsals, instrument-specific coaching sessions, music theory classes, recreation time, and a final performance.

Evergreen Music Festival Session 2
Session 2: July 20 – 26, 2025 at Central Washington University
Another incredible symphonic summer music camp for students entering 9th grade through age 21 who play orchestral instruments, including strings, winds, brass, and percussion. Students will take part in daily rehearsals, instrument-specific coaching sessions, music theory classes, recreation time, listening to student and faculty recitals, and participate in a chamber music performance as well as final symphonic performance.

TYSA – Hammond Ashley Bass Workshop
June 30 – July 3, 2025 at Pacific Lutheran University
The workshop offers an immersive study of the double bass through group technique classes, solo opportunities, and ensemble instruction. At the end of the workshop, all of the participants combine together to perform in a unique all-bass orchestra extravaganza! Double bass students of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Summer Jazz Orchestra
July 31–August 3, 2025 at Tacoma City Theaters and the Spanish Ballroom
Join TYSA for their Summer Jazz Orchestra! This workshop is held in downtown Tacoma in Studio 3 of the Tacoma City Theaters, with a final performance in the Spanish Ballroom at McMenamins Elks Temple, and is for students entering 8th grade through age 21.

T-Town Chamber Music Festival
June 22 – July 12, 2025 at Pacific Lutheran University
The T-Town Chamber Music Festival and Institute is a dynamic three weeklong festival that pairs world-class faculty artists with exceptionally talented young musicians! Under the inspired direction of Oksana Ejokina, former Artistic Director of the renowned Icicle Creek Chamber Music Festival, this elite program selects accomplished college and graduate-level pianists and string players through a highly competitive process. These rising stars, alongside seasoned faculty, will rehearse and perform in the breathtaking Lagerquist Concert Hall at Pacific Lutheran University, delivering electrifying classical chamber music performances to audiences across Tacoma and North Central Washington.
