THE TACOMA DAILY INDEX IS THE CITY’S OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER — At its last regular meeting, the city council adopted Resolution 1328, designating the Tacoma Daily Index as the city’s official newspaper. What does that mean? It means from here on out, you’ll find all City of Gig Harbor legal notices in the Tacoma Daily Index Legal Notices section. The Tacoma Daily Index is the official newspaper for the cities of Tacoma, Ruston, and Fircrest, as well as Pierce Transit and Metro Parks Tacoma. This change is projected to save up to 75% on publishing costs. As always, notices will continue to be published on our website and included each week in the Gig-A-Byte.
