2nd Annual Chowderfest Returns to Gig Harbor’s Waterfront
Gig Harbor, WA – Jan 16 th , 2025 – The Gig Harbor Waterfront Alliance is thrilled to announce
the return of Chowderfest, a celebration of Gig Harbor’s rich fishing and maritime heritage
through one of its most beloved dishes: chowder. This highly anticipated event will take place
on Saturday, March 8, 2025, inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the flavors of Gig
Harbor’s waterfront in a unique, community-centered way.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Chowderfest has quickly become a
hallmark celebration of Gig Harbor’s culinary traditions. Participants can enjoy chowder tastings
and chowder-themed dishes crafted by talented chefs from waterfront restaurants, each
showcasing their unique take on this iconic dish. Unlike other events in the local area,
Chowderfest offers an immersive experience, encouraging attendees to explore multiple
waterfront locations including restaurants, breweries, distilleries and participating retail
locations, while soaking in the harbor’s scenic charm.
