Now that the graduations are mostly complete, it’s time to rest in the shade and wiggle those toes in the green grass of the Nichols Community Center. FICRA, and the other island organizations, have been busy planning some wonderful summer family fun with lots of great concerts, tasty food (no cooking for Mama), and our annualFICRA Fair that combines shopping with music, the flower show, more food, and, of course, our shortest parade on the planet. The party begins with FICRA’s annual Summer Solstice celebration on Saturday, JUNE 24TH from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the NicholsCommunity Center. Per our annual tradition, we have a kickball game beginning at 4:30 pm (parents against the kids – let’s show them who’s boss) and then an adult-only game, we have a cornhole tournament for bragging rights (if you have what it takes). We have beer and wine for purchasing thirsty adults. Mama is off for the night so grab a bite at the Slam Dunk Sausage Food Truck. The music on the deck starts at 5:00 pm with the Krazy Kats Duo and 6:30 pm with the band “Sol” to wind the evening down. Be sure to bring your own lawn chairs/blanket and let those toes be “free”! https://files.constantcontact.com/70182251901/a782bbdc-d80b-45a2-9046-aab2f77c272e.pdf?rdr=true
