What is Camp GOTR?

May 11, 2023

Camp GOTR combines what your girl loves about Girls on the Run with all the fun of camp! Led by caring and qualified Girls on the Run coaches, Camp GOTR provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all girls, including girls with disabilities, to develop self-confidence, have fun with friends, and learn life skills they can use now and as they grow. During the week-long session, rising 3rd – 5th-grade girls will enjoy building friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through arts and crafts and storytelling.

The theme of the camp is Girls Have Heart! Girls will move, build, create, write, discuss, connect, and laugh while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates. Throughout the week, girls will have fun exploring friendships with activities designed to discover what makes a good friend and how to be a good friend to others.
