Since Gig Harbor has a strong Scandinavian history and with memories of Scandia Gaard still fresh, the Museum felt it was important to continue celebrating those cultural traditions. We also wanted to provide a fun, family-centered event for our community during the Holidays.
Light Up the Night will begin with the St. Lucia Procession and will be followed by an assortment of fun, Scandinavian-themed activities, crafts, and games taking place inside the Museum. Guests will also enjoy traditional Scandinavian treats, photo opportunities, story time, and caroling.
Everyone is welcome! In an attempt to include as many families as possible, admission to St. Lucia Festival is only $5/per person, 3 years and older. Harbor History Museum members and their families get in free.
