The Skansie Visitor & Interpretive Center is reopening this Wednesday, March 2 after an extended winter closure. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, we would love to have your help filling shifts Wednesday - Saturday from 10-1pm or 1-4pm. If you are interested in volunteering as a Docent, you can register for here.
Volunteering as a docent includes interpreting information about the animals in the touch tank, skull exhibit, microscope display, and interactive sandbox as well as operating the visitor center which will include either opening or closing duties.
