COVID-19 and the State of the District - May 8, 2020

By Peninsula School District May 1, 2020

Dear PSD Staff and Families,

We hope this message finds you and your family well this first week of May. Below are some updates for this week.

Have you heard your child or their teachers talk about Schoology? Schoology is the district supported learning management system. Our teachers are using Schoology as their access point for continuous learning opportunities. All students in the Peninsula School District have access to a district-provided Schoology account, but it is also important for you as a parent to also have one. By creating a parent Schoology account, you will have access to your child's courses, resources posted by their teachers, calendars, schedules and more. The initial account creation takes just minutes, but once created you will have an accountability tool as you support your child with continuous learning.

Personalized emails were sent to every child's listed guardian in the district on Monday, April 20, 2020. You will need your child's student ID in order to view the content of the message. The message includes your child's unique Parent Access Code, as well as directions on how to create a parent Schoology account.

Don't remember seeing the message? Check your email spam or junk folder. The email title was, "PSD Communications - Schoology Parent Letter," and the sender was Carol Winget <>. Still not finding the email? Send an email to with information about your child and we will ensure that you get the information.

Thank you for ALL that you continue to do to support your child and continuous learning in the Peninsula School District.
