How We Do It
We utilize proprietary software to accurately pinpoint each student's strengths and weaknesses. This allows us to focus on the elements which are holding them back, leading to a much more efficient tutoring experience.
Once we have identified problem areas, we can create an improvement plan to meet your goals.

SUMMER CLASSES
K-5 Summer Reading Camps -$299
12 hours of targeted instruction of two weeks-
Multiple Session per day - Space is limited!

Our two-week summer reading sessions are led by Monica Beals. Monica has a Masters degree in Reading Instruction and Curriculum as well as a Bachelor's degree in education. She has taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th & 5th grade and has considerable experience tutoring.
Students will meet three times a week in a small group for two hours, over a two-week period. Our program begins with an assessment of your child's current reading ability. Students will be grouped by ability. We utilize targeted reading instruction to improve fluency, reading comprehension and reading speed. The low student to adult ratio gives students focused instructional interaction.
We know that reading is the biggest contributor to educational success. To avoid summer learning loss, children must continue to read during the summer months. Our methods have been proven not only to maintain vital reading skills but to also accelerate children's progress in reading skills acquisition.

K-5 Summer Math Camp -$299
On average, students lose approximately 2.6 months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation over the summer months. Our summer programs aim to mitigate this "Summer Slide", by engaging students in higher level thinking, while having fun (after all it is summer).
Harbor Prep Summer Math Camps run from July 2nd through August 17th to help keep your students engaged in Math Learning through the Summer. We utilize a game-based curriculum to engage students to learn in a fun and confidence-building style.

Summer Jump Start Advantage Classes -$200
These classes were created to give your child a jump start on their next school year and allow them to start school confidently. Each class meets one day a week for four weeks. We begin with an individual assessment of the core concepts from the prior school year and from there our teachers cover any material that was not mastered, before moving on the next year's curriculum.
