Important DETAILS PARENTS of participants SHOULD Know:
🎪Your children MUST be registered to attend and for your child to be entered as a contestant in the parade.
🆓This is a FREE event (donations of any kind always appreciated).
🇺🇸Please Dress your kids (and yourselves if you wish! ) in PATRIOTIC COLORS (red, white, blue) to honor the 4th of July!
🚴Bring THE KIDS & their bikes, scooters, wagons, trikes .....and moms and dads, grandparents, etc bring the strollers too! On foot is fine too--just be sure to be dressed or decorated in patriotic colors if you can!
🗽Help your kids decorate their bike, scooter, etc at home before the event or come to decorate with us before the event at the DECORATING STATION (we can use donated decor so bring what you have!). We will have patriotic colored streamers, paper plates, markers, crepe paper and more to help fancy up your kiddos for the parade! We have **LIMITED** supplies. Most parents will decorate with their kids at home and maybe top it off with some of our supplies. We ask for $1 donation per child to use supplies.
📷Parents can walk with their kids or STAND OR SIT ON THE SIDELINES so you can get amazing pictures, it's up to you!
⛑️Safe environment. We will close the parking lot about 30 minutes prior to the event starting to ensure safety. More details to come about when the lot will close. Kids operating scooters and bikes MUST bring and wear helmets. Not required in wagons.
🍬If you wish you may provide candy for Your CHILD to throw to the spectators.
🕶️ALL AGES are welcome to this kids parade.
👨👩👧👦INVITE your family, friends, neighbors so the kids have spectators. SHARE this event on your wall please. The more the better.
🍴Hot Diggity Dogs and KC Freeze Ice Cream Trucks will serve you during the whole event.

TIMELINE FOR THE DAY:
10-12 Check In, enjoy the booths, eat and play, activities, decorate if not already done. (must be checked in by 11:30 am.
12 pm kids will start lining up for the parade
12:30 -Start parade They will do 2 laps.
1pm - End parade
We cannot wait to see all the adorable kiddos and celebrate the 4th of July with you.

BUSINESSES AND VENDORS--WE NEED YOU!
SPONSORS- We need sponsors and partners. Any local biz can be a sponsor (many ways to sponsor the event, just ask us).
BUSINESSES-We will accept a very limited and specific amount of vendors to sell prepackaged foods (kettle corn, cotton candy, frozen lemonade, or anything non-food that is expected to be found at a 4th of July event ie glow necklaces, etc)
NONPROFITS-Apply and mention potential partnering to have fee waived.
