New FREE Shuttle Service Makes Visiting the Gig Harbor Waterfront Farmers Market
Easier Than Ever
Gig Harbor, WA — Just in time for the 2025 season, the Gig Harbor Waterfront Farmers
Market is excited to announce a FREE, ADA-compliant shuttle service to help shoppers
skip the parking hassle and get straight to the fresh food and fun.
Marketgoers can now park and ride from two convenient locations west of the waterfront:
1. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (8002 Dorotich Street – accessed off
Rosedale Street)
2. Gig Harbor United Methodist Church (7400 Pioneer Way)
The shuttle will make a continuous loop to and from the market from 1pm to 6pm each
Thursday, with the full trip taking about 15 minutes. Whether you're stocking up on produce
or enjoying a stroll along the harbor, the shuttle ensures easy access for everyone,
including those with mobility challenges.
The shuttle service was made possible thanks to generous sponsorship by BBQ2U.
The first market of the season kicks off Thursday, May 22nd at 1 p.m. with a celebratory
ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Leave the parking stress behind and hop on the shuttle—it’s free, fast, and farmer-
approved.
